Ekkie Tepsupornchai- Sr. Pastor
Pastor Ekkie and his wife Alice officially joined Western Avenue Baptist Church on July 1st, 2019. Ekkie graduated from The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, CA with a Master of Divinity in December 2016. He is a native of Southern California, having been born in Santa Monica and raised in Los Angeles. Following his graduation, he served as a pastoral intern at Grace Community Church (Sun Valley, CA), where he also became certified for biblical counseling from ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors). He is an expository preacher who has traveled internationally to different parts of the world to teach and encourage other pastors and believers. His wife, Alice, serves in Sunday Children’s Church, Adventure Club and leads the Women’s Bible Study. They have been married since 2009.
David Duron - Family & Associate Pastor
Pastor Dave and his wife Beth joined Western Avenue Baptist Church in September 2022 after faithfully serving at Meridian Baptist Church in Idaho for nearly two decades. Dave has deep experience ministering to both youth and adults as an elder and pastor. Both Dave and Beth are Southern California natives and are graduates of The Master’s University (formerly known as the Master’s College). Like Pastor Ekkie, Dave is also certified for biblical counseling from ACBC. In addition, Beth is currently working on her Masters degree in Biblical Counseling at The Master’s University.
