We go out to the world because we've been called into the joy of a loving relationship with God. That's the motivation we draw from when considering missions. When we look at others that don't know the good news of Jesus Christ we see ourselves - where we are apart from God's grace to us. This perspective guides and directs us to others in the love that God has mercifully shown us.
“for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”
